Alexa Bliss had a quick answer for a fan who read a little too much into her wardrobe choices.
Bliss teamed with Charlotte Flair and Tatum Paxley against Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-Fab in a six-woman tag match at WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, wearing gear fans had seen from her before.
Afterward, one fan criticized her look and moveset on social media, going as far as suggesting the recycled outfit and repeated highlights meant she was ready to retire.
Bliss saw the comment and responded with a laugh rather than any frustration, explaining plainly that her gear is expensive and she’d rather get multiple uses out of it than let it sit unworn.
Or… my gear is extremely Expensive & I wanna get as many uses of it as I can ?
As for the match itself, Bliss ran into trouble when B-Fab tripped her from the outside and sent her shoulder-first into the steel steps. The bout ultimately came down to Flair and Cargill, with Cargill escaping a Figure Eight attempt and hitting Flair with Jaded for the win, giving The Baddies the victory.
Bliss didn’t walk away with the win, but she made sure the retirement narrative didn’t stick around either and sometimes reused gear is just a smart use of a wrestling budget.
