WWE Money in the Bank has been moved from Sunday, September 6 to Saturday, October 10 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, with the change driven by a scheduling conflict with broadcast partners, according to Fightful Select.
Fightful Select had been hinting at a date change for some time, including mentions in recent Q&A and Select Answers posts. Sources within WWE confirmed to Fightful that the move was planned for well over a month and known by several within the company.
City officials also told Fightful on background that there were factors connected to New Orleans in early September that would have driven up costs for attendees, in addition to Labor Day weekend travel complications.
WWE made the change official on Monday. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m. ET via Ticketmaster, with a presale opening Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m. ET. Premium VIP packages are also available through On Location.
Last year’s event took place on June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. Seth Rollins won the Men’s ladder match for his second career briefcase, while Naomi captured the Women’s briefcase for the first time in her career.
Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso defeated John Cena and Logan Paul in the main event, with R-Truth returning to help secure the victory. Dominik Mysterio successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Penta on the same card.
