Brock Lesnar Shows Support for WWE Hall of Famer’s Daughter

ByNicholas WatsonProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Brock Lesnar is credited with being one of the most dangerous in-ring competitors of all time. Despite that, Lesnar is known to be a simple man who has always given back to future generations. He recently showed a similar gesture for a WWE Hall of Famer’s daughter as well.

He is none other than the WWE Hall of Famer, Mark Henry. A photo on social media showed Brock Lesnar getting snapped with Henry’s daughter, Joanna, who was competing in her wrestling tournament and coached by Lesnar himself. Henry thanked The Beast for showing support to his daughter, who went 4-0 at the Women’s National Duels in Indianapolis.

Brock Lesnar has always been supportive of the younger and upcoming generation in sports. The same has been evident in The Alpha Male of All Species, who is often spotted cheering his daughter, Mya Lesnar, at her shot put tournaments. However, this time, Lesnar went beyond to show support for the daughter of one of his peers.

The former 10-time WWE Champion has had some history with Mark Henry in the ring as well. The duo competed against each other in the early 2000s when Lesnar was just starting out in WWE. In 2014, the duo had an altercation inside the squared circle where Lesnar laid a beatdown on Henry and snapped his arm with the Kimura Lock.

Brock Lesnar picked up a major win in his last WWE appearance

Brock Lesnar shocked the world by hinting at his retirement right after he suffered a thrashing defeat at the hands of Oba Femi at WrestleMania 42. However, The Beast returned a month later to reignite the feud, leading to a rematch between them at WWE Clash in Italy PLE.

In a complete reversal from his WrestleMania performance, Brock Lesnar showed dominance for the majority of the match. While Oba Femi tried to gain the upper hand, Lesnar was much more prepared this time and delivered seven F-5s to put down The Ruler for the victory. With the score 1-1 tied and Femi continuing to call out Lesnar, it will be interesting to see if he will answer for a third potential showdown.
