WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry believes Brock Lesnar’s in-ring career could end at SummerSlam 2026 in a loss to Oba Femi.
In an interview with Casino.org, Henry laid out his predictions for the card and framed the Lesnar matchup as the moment Femi ascends to the main-event tier.
Henry described the bout as Femi’s “coming-out party,” backing The Ruler to beat The Beast and suggesting Lesnar walks away for good afterward. His comments come as speculation, and Henry is offering a forecast rather than reporting a booked outcome.
I would think that this would be Oba Femi’s coming-out party,” Henry said.
Brock has served a lot of time and done a lot of good in the pro wrestling world, so there’s no need for him to take any punishment, but I think Oba Femi beats him at SummerSlam. I think Brock will retire after the event. I think that this is it for him.
Oba Femi Is In The Spotlight
Femi already holds a marquee win over Lesnar. At WrestleMania 42 Sunday, Oba Femi conquered Brock Lesnar, giving The Ruler a legend-level scalp early in his singles push.
He followed that up at Night of Champions 2026, defeating Jey Uso to be crowned the 2026 King of the Ring.
That trajectory, a signature win over a former world champion plus a King of the Ring crown, is a familiar path WWE uses to build a new headliner. Booker T recently offered his own advice on how Femi should be positioned going forward.
Femi’s King of the Ring victory guaranteed him a world title match at SummerSlam but he opted to face Lesnar instead. Lesnar and Femi will clash inside Hell in a Cell at WWE SummerSlam next month.
