Danhausen has no shortage of ideas for expanding beyond the wrestling ring, and one of them involves getting himself drawn into Springfield.
Talking to BANG Showbiz, Danhausen was fantasy-booking his ideal television future and pitched a sitcom called “The Danhausens,” rattling off a dream guest list that included Conan O’Brien, Danzig, Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
When the interviewer floated the idea of a Simpsons cameo instead, Danhausen didn’t need convincing and he immediately called it a dream and said he wanted to help make it happen, even suggesting a Treehouse of Horror appearance specifically as the perfect fit.
Oh yes, that’s a dream. So we got to make that dream come true. Even if you want to put Danhausen in a Treehouse of Horror as a guest star, that would be great.
Let’s get it in there. Let’s put it out in the universe.
The pitch tracks with Danhausen’s established persona, built around curses, horror aesthetics, and a self-described “very nice, very evil” character, the kind of unsettling-but-lovable act that would slot naturally into one of the show’s annual horror specials. Nothing about an actual appearance is in the works. For now, this remains purely a wish Danhausen is putting out into the universe.
