The hunt for the 2026 Men’s Money in the Bank competitors continued on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw in Mexico City, with Big Cass, Je’Von Evans, and The Vision’s Austin Theory battling it out in a triple threat qualifier.
Of the three, only Theory has previous experience in the grueling ladder match. He climbed the ladder and captured the coveted MITB briefcase in 2022, later cashing it in for a United States Championship match against Seth Rollins.
Tonight, Theory’s hopes to repeat history were dashed when Evans pinned Cass.
This qualifier’s closing moments saw Cass plant Evans with a spinning side slam. Maxxine Dupri then pulled Theory to safety before Cass could inflict damage on him next. Evans looked for a springboard cutter on Cass shortly after, only to be denied.
After Theory dumped Cass to the outside, the big man yanked him out there as well. Dupri proceeded to argue with Cass, which prompted him to launch Theory in the barricade in response. Cass continued his offense with a chokeslam to Evans on the apron. Back in the ring, Theory blasted Cass with a forearm. Evans then followed with a neckbreaker to Theory and an OG Cutter to Cass, the latter of which secured him the pinfall.
Later in the show, WWE will determine the next Women’s Money in the Bank entrant with another qualifying bout pitting Lola Vice against NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez.
The 2026 Money in the Bank premium live event will emanate from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 10. With his win tonight, Evans will join Bron Breakker and a number of entrants still to be determined in the men’s ladder match.
