With Sunday Night’s Main Event in the rearview mirror, WWE now turns its attention to Money in the Bank, which will emanate from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 10.

Tonight on WWE Raw in Birmingham, three talents competed in the first Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match qualifier: The Vision’s Bron Breakker, Ethan Page, and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio. Breakker emerged victorious and cemented his MITB spot by pinning Mysterio.

The closing moments of the match saw Breakker charging around the outside with intention of landing a spear. He instead collided with the steel steps. Back in the ring, Mysterio took control with a hurricanrana and a wheelbarrow bulldog on Page. His offense continued with a 619. When he and Page then met atop the turnbuckle, however, Breakker sent them crashing down with a double Frankensteiner. The Vision member promptly dumped Page over the top rope, leaving Mysterio alone to take a full-speed spear in the ring.

Later in the show, WWE will also determine the first Women’s Money in the Bank entrant with another qualifier pitting Sol Ruca against Lyra Valkyria and Maxxine Dupri. Last year’s Money in the Bank ladder matches produced Seth Rollins and Naomi as their winners.

As usual, the 2026 MITB winners will have one year to cash in their respective briefcases for a title match of their choosing. In 2025, Rollins cashed his in on then-WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk at SummerSlam. Naomi interrupted a WWE Women’s World Championship match between IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley to make it a triple threat at Evolution. Breakker currently reigns as one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions.
