Mercedes Moné Loses Her Cool After Dropping WPW Title to Jody Threat

Mercedes Moné recently lost the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women's Championship to Jody Threat on Tuesday night at the promotion's annual Fight at the Museum event. The loss continues a difficult stretch for Moné, who has dropped multiple championships in recent months.

The match served as redemption for Threat, who previously lost the title to Moné back in October. Threat earned her rematch by winning the Voyageur Cup tournament, defeating competitors including Allie Katch and Shayna Baszler along the way.

Following the match, 'The CEO' lost her cool and in a video surfaced on social media, she could be seen splashing water from a bottle at the cameraman and crew.

Recent Title Losses Mount

Moné spent much of March traveling internationally to defend titles she won throughout 2025, making stops in places like Mexico, Poland, Italy, and England. However, the month turned into a losing streak that has cost her championship after championship.

The recent run of losses began when Moné's TBS Championship reign ended on New Year's Eve against Willow Nightingale. Since that defeat, she has been dropping titles one after another, slowly losing the collection that once made her one of the most decorated champions in wrestling.

Down to One Championship

After her latest loss, Moné is now down to just one remaining title, the APAC Women's Championship. This marks a major shift for the superstar, whose global championship tour once made headlines across multiple promotions.

With only one belt left, Moné's next move could determine whether this marks the end of her belt-collector era or the start of a new chapter in her career.
