Kevin Owens will have his family support on the night he challenges for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

The Prize Fighter appeared in an interview with Faces Magazine. He revealed that his parents and family will be in attendance for the August 21 episode of SmackDown in Toronto, Canada to watch him challenge CM Punk for the WWE title.

Kevin Owens also added that her mother couldn’t have come if it had been somewhere else because of her health issues. However, the WWE star said driving to Toronto from Montreal would be manageable for her.

So now, to get to come back and have a show so soon in Toronto, and in such a major match, is great. Also, my parents will get to be there, my family will get to be there and that wouldn’t have been the case if the match happened somewhere else, because my mom, through her health issues over the last several years, her ability to fly and go to shows that are far away, it’s just not the case anymore. But Toronto, it’s a manageable drive from Montreal.

Kevin Owens had been sidelined due to a serious neck injury since January 2025. However, KO made a shocking return at SummerSlam 2026 and won a Fatal 4-Way match to earn an Undisputed WWE Championship match against CM Punk. Moreover, Owens chose to cash in his title shot on the upcoming episode of SmackDown to have the home-field advantage.

With KO ready to fight and eyeing his second World Championship, we will have to wait and see if he can get the job done in front of his family and fans who will be in attendance for SmackDown.
