WWE star Logan Paul is teaming with his brother Jake Paul on a new fight competition series for Hulu and ESPN, with the two coaching rival teams of fighters. The networks announced the untitled project Thursday, and casting is already open ahead of a 2027 production start.
According to the official synopsis, eliminations on the show “are not settled by a vote; they are settled by a fight.” Fighters split into two teams, live and train together in the wild and choose their own matchups, with the Pauls sending each loser home until one man and one woman remain.
Deadline reports wrestling will be one of the disciplines in play, alongside MMA, boxing, jiu-jitsu, muay Thai and karate. The series comes from Brent Montgomery’s Wheelhouse and Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions, and Deadline says it’s the first project Hulu and ESPN have greenlit together.
The show’s casting website, fightgamecasting.com, is branded Fight Game. Applicants must be at least 18, legal U.S. residents and without a felony conviction in the past 10 years unless it has been expunged, and the application asks for athletic information, background details, photos and video.
The TKO Wrinkle
The show lands on ESPN, which became the exclusive U.S. home of all WWE Premium Live Events this year. It also pairs Logan with a brother who claims he’s unwelcome at WWE events.
In May, Jake said TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of both WWE and UFC, won’t allow him at Logan’s WWE matches because of MVP’s feud with the UFC. “They won’t even let me go be in my brother’s WWE matches because they hate me so much,” Jake said.
Since then, MVP has merged with the PFL, and Jake has pitched the combined company as a direct challenger to the UFC.
Logan Paul Still Working Back From Injury
Logan signed a long-term, full-time contract with WWE in January, but he has been out of in-ring action since May. He tore his triceps as he and Austin Theory defended the World Tag Team Championship against The Street Profits.
Paul has documented his recovery on his vlog, and in an update released August 26, he said he was “semi cleared” to start throwing clotheslines. He is not yet fully cleared to compete.
Jake is also mounting a comeback after suffering a broken jaw in a sixth-round knockout loss to Anthony Joshua last December. MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian recently told talkSPORT that Jake is cleared to spar in mid-September, with a return targeted for the end of the year.
