Stephanie Vaquer is getting her hands dirty on the mats again. The former WWE Women’s World Champion appears in a new gym photo posted by RUDOS Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, posing alongside training partners just days before SummerSlam weekend.
Vaquer has been away from WWE television since late April, when Judgment Day members attacked her backstage on Raw. The angle was used to write her off screen while she recovered from a legitimate second-degree AC joint sprain in her shoulder, an injury that came right after she dropped the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42.
The training photo lines up with the latest word on her comeback. Insider WrestleVotes said during a recent Q&A that WWE is targeting her return “likely around SummerSlam, the week before, or at SummerSlam, in that range,” pointing to how thin the Raw women’s division has looked without her.
Return Window Narrows As SummerSlam Arrives
SummerSlam runs Saturday and Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, with Morgan defending the Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky, winner of the 2026 Queen of the Ring tournament. Morgan hasn’t defended the title since beating Vaquer in April, a gap that passed the 100-day mark last week.
WWE had previously discussed bringing Vaquer back around Clash in Italy in late May, but she never made that trip and the plans got pushed back. A hands-on training session this close to SummerSlam suggests the shoulder has progressed enough for the company to seriously plan around her.
