TNA is set to bring back a fan-favorite gimmick match at the 22nd Bound For Glory pay-per-view on Sunday, October 11, live from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, FL. The match will feature the in-ring debut of Avery Styles.
Bound For Glory XXII will feature TNA’s eighth Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. The match was first held in 2019, and has been a Bound For Glory tradition since then. Open to male and female talents, the reverse Gauntlet starts with two competitors, and new entrants hit the ring at timed intervals. The match continues with over-the-top eliminations until the final two wrestlers do battle in a standard singles match, which can be won by pinfall or submission only.
This week’s Impact saw the son of AJ Styles reveal to Frankie Kazarian that he will make his TNA in-ring debut in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet. Kazarian then announced that he will also be in the match. The System’s Bear Bronson had previously declared his spot.
The Call Your Shot Gauntlet winner will receive a trophy and a contract for a future championship match that can be cashed in at any time in the next year, for a title of their choosing. There were 22 Call Your Shot competitors in 2025, up from 20 talents in earlier years.
Styles has worked the indies since June of this year, not long before making his first appearance for TNA at Lockdown. The 19-year-old has trained under his father, Natalya, and others.
Kazarian previously won two Call Your Shot bouts, the most of any other talent. The California native won in 2024 but failed to dethrone Joe Hendry of the TNA World Championship. He won again in 2025, then went on to capture the strap from Mike Santana.
Ryan Nemeth is now official for the X-Division Championship Six-Way Scramble at Bound For Glory. He defeated KJ Orso on Impact to join Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, Rich Swann, and Cedric Alexander as confirmed participants. Next week’s Impact will feature Mr. Elegance vs. BDE to determine the last man that will compete for the vacant X-Division Championship at Bound For Glory.
In other title news for the pay-per-view, it was announced that Xia Brookside will defend the Knockouts World Championship against Indi Hartwell.
Bound For Glory will also feature the 2026 TNA Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The current pay-per-view line-up looks like this:
