TNA Deletes Max Caster Debut Rap Clips After Riyadh Backlash

TNA has pulled Max Caster’s debut entrance rap from its social media accounts after a line referencing Riyadh drew heavy backlash, including from Saudi wrestling fans, according to multiple reports.

Caster made his TNA debut at Bound for Glory in Tampa on Sunday, October 11, after he accepted Moose’s open challenge for the pay-per-view. In his entrance rap aimed at Moose, he said: “I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.”

The line came days after Houthi-claimed missile attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Saudi aviation authorities said three Saudi citizens were killed in two attacks on the airport on Thursday, October 8, according to Reuters.

Fans flooded the replies to TNA’s own post of the entrance, and some called for Caster to be fired. One X post demanded that officials condemn Caster in an official statement. TNA has since removed posts featuring video of the debut, and the original entrance post is no longer available, per reports.

As of Monday, neither TNA nor Caster has publicly addressed the criticism, and TNA hasn’t announced any discipline.

A similar rap was pulled in 2021

This isn’t the first time a company has scrubbed a Caster rap. In August 2021, AEW removed an entrance rap from an episode of AEW Dark after it drew backlash over lines about Simone Biles and the Duke lacrosse case. AEW president Tony Khan called the rap “terrible” on Busted Open Radio, said it should have been caught in editing, and said the episode was deleted and re-posted with it cut out.

Moose beat Caster with a spear in the match. It was Caster’s first match since his AEW contract expired on October 1, and TNA hasn’t said whether he has signed with the company.
