The events of AEW Redemption PPV led to a major title showdown being made official for All In 2026.
At the pay-per-view, Willow Nightingale defeated Thekla in a huge singles bout and became the new AEW Women’s World Champion. In doing so, it was announced that she will now face the winner of the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation Cup tournament, Mercedes Mone, with her newly won title on the line at All In in Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Following her victory, Nightingale’s allies from The Conglomeration came to congratulate her. Just then, Mone appeared in the stands and had a stare-down with her longtime rival, who became the new champion at Redemption PPV.
This has set the tone for one of the most anticipated rematches of 2025. The final Dynamite episode of the year saw Willow Nightingale beat Mercedes Mone and end her dominant TBS title reign, following which The CEO went on a hiatus from the company. At the same time, it was Nightingale whom Mone had defeated at Double or Nothing 2024 to win the TBS title in her first-ever AEW match.
Now, these two fierce rivals will lock horns once again at the biggest event for AEW with the top prize in the women’s division on the line. So, it will be interesting to see this clash between Mone and Nightingale for the Women’s World title at All In 2026.
