WWE Legend Reacts To AEW Women's Blood and Guts Match

Mick Foley was impressed by the women’s Blood & Guts match on AEW Dynamite and even singled out Megan Bayne's performance.

Mick Foley has seen plenty of violence in wrestling, and he was impressed by the women’s Blood & Guts match on AEW Dynamite.

The match took place on the November 4 episode of Dynamite in Jacksonville, Florida. Wrathlander (Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron), Willow Nightingale, The Brawling Birds (Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter) and Queen Aminata defeated Divine Dominion (Bayne and Lena Kross), Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue) and Persephone.

Foley reacted on social media after the match, writing:

This is pure insanity. Respect to everyone involved. These women are truly hardcore.

In a separate Instagram Story, he singled out Megan Bayne, saying:

Years from now, when we look back at the career of Megan Bayne this will be one of the matches that defines it.

The weapons were extensive, including light tubes, barbed wire, beer bottles and a guitar that Jeff Jarrett gave to Cameron. In the final moments, Cameron put Hart in a single-leg crab while Statlander wrapped barbed wire around Hart’s mouth, forcing a verbal submission.

Wrathlander and The Brawling Birds have had tension, but the teams worked together to win. They are scheduled to face each other for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear on November 14.
