WWE continues to stack its roster with the latest class of recruits at the Performance Center in Orlando. It was announced this week that the following talents have officially reported to the PC to begin training with the company: Cara Brown, Katie Reynolds aka Alice Lane, Aalyah Gutierrez aka Aalyah Mysterio, Zoë Sager, Ana da Silva, Jackson Goonrey aka Scott Green, and Tyran Tuckey aka The Tuckman.
Goonrey and Tuckey are known on the Australian indie scene as The Dropouts. Hailing from Sydney, Goonrey found fame on the Australian version of “Survivor: Redemption,” while Minto native Tuckey dropped out of college to pursue his dream as a pro wrestler, and this led to significant media attention before some began touting Tyran as the most in-demand grappler Down Under.
Grayson Waller is one of WWE’s top Aussie talents. The current NXT Champion, who also found fame on Australian Survivor and the local wrestling scene, often issues public praise for his fellow wrestlers from Oz, whether heel or babyface. Furthermore, since coming to WWE in early 2021, Waller has hyped an Aussie takeover of the pro wrestling industry, noting that he’s in it for the long-haul.
The Arrogant Aussie continued the takeover talk today when touting the WWE signings of The Dropouts. Waller took to X to share a few photos from backstage at the Performance Center, joking that he already regrets putting in a good word for WWE to sign Tuckey and Goonrey.

The Dropouts are now looking to make their name on the big stage. The AEW roster currently features Aussie talents such as Kyle Fletcher and Harley Cameron, while WWE has names like Rhea Ripley and Bronson Reed. The 25-year-old Tuckey and the 24-year-old Green are no strangers to success as they were Newy Pro Tag Team Champions for 182 days, and they held the SLAM! Tag Team Championship for 462 days. One of their final bouts before finishing up Down Under came this past May when they failed to dethrone The Good Brothers of the WSW Tag Team Championship.
Waller is continuing his career resurgence on WWE’s NXT brand. The former WWE Tag Team Champion captured the NXT Championship at Heatwave in late August, dethroning Tony D’Angelo in a Fatal 4 Way that included Zilla Fatu and Cruz Montana.
WWE is set to return to Australia later this year for another series of Takeover Perth events, and rumors began swirling this week on potential major changes. Airing from the RAC Arena, SmackDown is scheduled for December 11, with Wrestlepalooza taking place the following night, and Raw on December 14.
