Grayson Waller has declared himself the ‘Best In The World’ minutes after retaining the NXT Championship against CM Punk on the November 4 episode of NXT.
Waller rolled up Punk for the pin after Kevin Owens appeared at ringside and distracted the challenger. The Aussie posted a photo of himself with the title and the caption “Best In The World” on X shortly after the show ended from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
Waller had retained against Tony D’Angelo at Halloween Havoc less than a week earlier. WWE NXT aired head-to-head with AEW Dynamite Blood and Guts on the same night.
