Fan Shoved At Full Gear Details Heartfelt Response By Jon Moxley

0

A fan shoved at AEW Full Gear by Marina Shafir has shared how Jon Moxley made her experience a positive one at the recent pay-per-view. In the main event, Moxley defended the AEW World Championship against Orange Cassidy. After the match, Moxley and his Death Riders allies fought many AEW stars, including Darby Allin who rammed a car into the truck the faction was using to escape.

As usual, Moxley arrived for the match from the crowd with Shafir accompanying the AEW World Champion. Fans watching the show noticed an incident during the entrance where a fan fell to her knees when Moxley was near.

That fan has come forward on X, saying that she fell over after being shoved back by Shafir. Fortunately, Moxley made sure to check on her and gave her a kiss on the forehead for good measure. The fan was 100% fine after the incident and was “literally on cloud nine” after this unique moment with the four-time and reigning AEW World Champion.

Moxley’s actions turned what could’ve been a PR nightmare for AEW into a moment this fan will never forget. While the leader of the Death Riders has been as vicious as it gets as of late, even trying to poison Cassidy after the match, Moxley once again proved his support for the fans. Tony Khan recently named Moxley as AEW’s greatest star, and with interactions like these, fans can expect the reigning AEW World Champion in a high position for a long time to come.

Mina Shirakawa Shows Off Nasty Lump After Full Gear Heartbreak

0

Mina Shirakawa was left feeling worse for wear after Mariah May attempted to betray her at AEW Full Gear 2024 last weekend. During the pair’s celebration of May’s championship reign, the AEW Women’s World Champion attempted to attack her friend. Shirakawa, seeing the betrayal coming, ducked, kicked a champagne glass out of May’s hand, and speared her off the ramp through a table.

Mina may have been the one standing tall at Full Gear but she hardly left the show unfazed. In addition to the heartbreak of being betrayed by her longtime friend and tag team partner. On X, the Japanese star showed the nasty lump on her head she suffered at the pay-per-view.

Shirakawa is ready to bring the fight to her former friend and the pair are expected to feud over the AEW Women’s World Championship. Mina has yet to hold gold since arriving in AEW while May has held the title since All In: London, where she destroyed another former ally in ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm. The New Zealand-Australian star recently ‘retired’ from professional wrestling, though many, including Tony Khan, have doubts that the former champion is truly gone for good.

In the meantime, Shirakawa is poised to feud with May, and is wise to her former friend’s schemes as shown by her quick thinking at Full Gear. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on this feud, with May already vowing to get revenge on the Japanese star.

Blue League:

  • AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada
  • Kyle Fletcher
  • AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia
  • Mark Briscoe
  • Shelton Benjamin
  • The Beast Mortos

Gold League:

  • AEW Trios Champion Claudio Castagnoli

The AEW Continental Classic

The AEW Continental Classic sees two divisions compete in round-robin rules, meaning everyone from each division faces one another in singles action. Like most soccer leagues, winners obtain three points per match and matches ending in a draw see one point given to each participant.

The tournament will be held until Contential Rules, which include:

  • Matches will have a twenty-minute time limit.
  • No other wrestlers are allowed at ringside.
  • Outside interference is prohibited under the threat of a one-point deduction.

The winners of the two divisions will face off in the finals. The winner of that match will become the AEW Continental Champion. As the current champion, Kazcuhika Okada was automatically eligible for the tournament.

Bloodsport XII Results: Jon Moxley Appears, NXT Stars In Action

0

Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XII took place at the White Eagle Hall in Jersey City last weekend, and proved to be another epic show of violence and wrestling. The show saw ten matches take place featuring stars of WWE, AEW, TNA Wrestling and beyond.

Jon Moxley Appears

In women’s action, AEW’s Marina Shafir fought TNA Wrestling’s Jody Threat. Jon Moxley appeared in the corner of Shafir as the pair are part of the Death Riders faction in AEW. Shafir got the win and posed with Moxley after the match.

MVP Loses Debut Match

MVP had teased a match with Barnett himself shortly after his departure from WWE earlier this year. Unfortunately for the Hurt Syndicate leader, he came up short and lost via submission in the main event.

After the match, MVP and Barnett hugged in the ring and the AEW star cut a promo putting Barnett over as the spirit of Bloodsport. Barnett then issued a challenge for GCW Bloodsport in the Hammerstein Ballroom.

TNA Wrestling Represented

Josh Alexander showed his toughness by defeating ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey, who is reportedly set to join AEW soon. TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich put her title on the line against Lei Ying Lee (formerly Xia Li in WWE) and was able to retain the gold.

WWE NXT Superstars In Action

WWE continued to show its willingness to work with others by allowing several NXT Superstars to compete at Bloodsport XII. Myles Borne made his Bloodsport debut at the event but came up short against Bloodsport veteran Royce Isaaacs.

Charlie Dempsey fared better than his No Quarter Catch Crew ally as the NXT Heritage Cup Champion defeated Matt Makowski. The win extends Dempsey’s Bloodsport record to 2-1.

Karmen Petrovic made her Bloodsport debut to show what the women of WWE NXT are capable of. Petrovic, who has been shining on the silver brand defeated Sumie Sakai via TKO thanks toa strong kick to the head of her legendary opponent.

Hulk Hogan Hints at Joining Trump Administration as Fitness Advocate

0

Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has hinted at a potential role in President-elect Donald Trump’s upcoming administration. Speaking with Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade on Saturday, Hogan revealed that Trump had suggested appointing him as the head of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness—a position dedicated to promoting health and wellness across the United States.

According to Hogan, Trump told him, “You’d be great to run the President’s Council on Physical Fitness,” during a recent conversation. While no official plans or announcements have been made, Hogan’s potential appointment would represent an unconventional choice for this influential role.

The Council’s History and Hogan’s Potential Impact

Founded in 1956, the President’s Council on Physical Fitness has been traditionally led by prominent athletes and celebrities committed to encouraging healthier lifestyles nationwide. If Hogan were to assume the role, his dynamic and larger-than-life persona could inject new energy into fitness advocacy efforts.

Hogan’s relationship with Trump spans decades, with the former WWE champion often voicing admiration for the president-elect. During the interview, Hogan referred to Trump as “my president,” highlighting their longstanding friendship, which includes Trump’s past appearances at WWE events.

Political Implications

Hogan’s potential involvement reflects Trump’s penchant for appointing high-profile figures from outside traditional political circles. While the idea remains speculative, the prospect of Hogan leading the council underscores Trump’s unconventional approach to governance. His second term could see more celebrity figures tackling national issues in innovative ways.

Mariah May Vows Revenge After Mina Shirakawa’s Betrayal

0

Mariah May’s triumphant celebration as AEW Women’s World Champion took an unexpected turn at Full Gear 2024 when her alliance with Mina Shirakawa came to a shocking end. Now, May has addressed the betrayal that left fans in disbelief.

On November 24, May posted a chilling statement on Twitter, writing: “I want Mina.” The tweet, accompanied by striking images of the moment Shirakawa speared her off the entrance ramp and through a table, underscored the intensity of their fallout.

The dramatic incident unfolded during what was meant to be a celebratory segment highlighting May’s reign as AEW Women’s Champion. Her victory over Toni Storm at All In 2024 had established her as a dominant force in the division, and the event at the Prudential Center in Newark was supposed to showcase her success. Instead, it ended in chaos.

May, who boldly declared during the segment that she was “killing the AEW Women’s Division,” attempted to betray Shirakawa. However, her plan backfired spectacularly when Shirakawa retaliated, sending May crashing through a table in one of AEW’s most memorable betrayals.

The fallout has shattered the once-strong partnership between May and Shirakawa, who had been nearly inseparable since Shirakawa’s return to AEW television. The betrayal serves as a stark reminder that alliances in AEW are rarely as stable as they appear.

Fans are now left wondering: will Mariah May get the revenge she seeks, or has Mina Shirakawa firmly positioned herself as a new threat to the AEW Women’s Division?

QT Marshall Discusses AEW’s Strategy to Reconnect with Fans

0

QT Marshall, All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) Vice President of Show and Creative Coordination, recently addressed the company’s declining attendance and viewership metrics. In an interview with Metro, Marshall emphasized the need for AEW to revisit the core elements that initially attracted fans while simultaneously innovating to maintain momentum.

Reflecting on AEW’s early days, Marshall noted, “When AEW first started, there was a charm in making mistakes, right? We were gritty, we were new, we were not WWE.” He acknowledged that the wrestling landscape has evolved, with WWE undergoing significant backstage changes that have positioned it as an underdog, potentially drawing some of AEW’s audience.

To address these challenges, Marshall stated, “We have to go back to what brought us to the dance, but also, you know, continue to move forward.” He highlighted the importance of reconnecting fans with AEW’s brand identity and enhancing the live event experience.

Carmelo Hayes References CM Punk’s History of Backstage Fights

0

Carmelo Hayes recently revealed that he received valuable advice from CM Punk.

During last night’s edition of WWE SmackDown, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens had a fiery exchange of words during a promo segment as they almost brawled before WWE officials intervened to separate them.

Following that, Hayes came across Rhodes backstage as they had a staredown. Later that evening, Carmelo Hayes took to his social media and revealed CM Punk’s advice, about backstage fights on SmackDown.

Carmelo Hayes’ tongue-in-cheek tweet was a reference to CM Punk’s infamous real-life backstage scuffles during his AEW tenure which led to his departure from the promotion.

Carmelo Hayes is scheduled to face Cody Rhode on the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown which was taped after this week’s show.

On the other hand, the Women’s United States Championship tournament will also continue next week with a triple threat quarterfinals matchup. A mystery competitor will face Piper Niven and Michin in a triple threat quarterfinals tournament match on next week’s WWE SmackDown. Jade Cargill was originally set for the match but she is seemingly written off after an injury angle last night as she was hit by a car backstage.

The announced lineup for the Friday, November 29 WWE SmackDown:

  • Cody Rhodes vs. Carmelo Hayes
  • Tournament Quarterfinals for the Women’s United States Championship:
Piper Niven vs. Michin vs. one more Superstar TBA

Gage Goldberg On Potential Wrestling Career, Encounter With Gunther

0

Gage Goldberg wants to see his dad take on Gunther after their bad Blood encounter.

The son of the former WCW Champion recently had an interview with WrestleBinge. He discussed things such as the origin of his name, whether he watches current-day wrestling, and more.

When asked if he has any plans of joining the business himself, the Colorado Buffaloes football star said that it’s more of a backup plan for him:

“I mean yes and no. For sure cuz wrestling would be cool having all the…. being amped up and everything. Having all the adrenaline, but then also like I know my place right now is with football.

So I’m going to live this out and see where that takes me. If it doesn’t work out, could be wrestling. Don’t know. It’s a backup plan.”

Gage was also asked about attending the Bad Blood PPV in Atlanta with his dad and the encounter with Gunther. The 18-year-old said that he kind of wants to see his dad fighting the Ring General now:

“I mean when he first came out, I wasn’t expecting anything. Then he started saying all that. Then I’m like ‘okay.’ I started whispering to my dad, I’m like ‘You might want to get in there and kick his ass’ or something like that.

But he got out there. He showed his presence for sure too. It was just like; I was like why are you calling him out? I don’t really know. I kind of want to see my dad kick his ass now.”

Bill Goldberg has announced that he’ll be having his retirement match in 2025. While an opponent and a date has not been revealed for his final match, it seems very likely that we’ll see him fighting Gunther during the WrestleMania season or at the next Saudi show in May.

Tony Khan Believes WWE ID Will Definitely Influence Indie Wrestling

0

Tony Khan doesn’t know how the WWE ID program will affect their hiring strategy and if they will have to face any conflict while trying to bring in any talent.

The AEW President took part in the post-Full Gear 2024 media scrum. He discussed topics such as the Costco Guys’ recent involvement with the company and more.

When asked about the newly launched WWE ID program, the wrestling executive noted that he is not completely aware of how the thing works but claimed that it’s definitely going to affect the independent scene:

“It’s interesting. I don’t really know how it’s going to work. I understand there is some kind of first right or refusal aspect of it. We haven’t come up where it’s been a conflict yet. I do think it’s going to affect the independent scene in some ways.”

Khan discussed how they have brought in many great indie talents over the years and mentioned that AEW provided work to many indie stars during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We’ll Keep Signing Great Talents: Tony Khan

TK cited the new TNT Champion Daniel Garcia as an example of talent who started off in AEW Dark and has now become a champion in the company. Tony Khan then reiterated that they’ll be keeping a close eye on the WWE ID program:

“I expect we’ll keep signing great talent off the independents. I do think it’s a different mechanism. It’s something to keep an eye on. It hasn’t created major conflicts or anything yet, but I imagine it will definitely influence the independent wrestling scene. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on.”

WWE has partnered up with many indie promotions for their new program. The prospects signed to it will have access to the company’s training facilities and the promotion will produce content around their wrestling journey for their social platforms.

The talents will continue operating as they do in the independents and there won’t be any restrictions on who they can work for. The belief is that WWE will have the right to first refusal on talent. If any other company reaches out to them with an offer, the Endeavor-owned promotion will get an opportunity to sign them first.

Tony Khan Invites Big Boom A.J. Back to AEW Following Full Gear Win

0

Tony Khan has extended the invitation to Big Boom! A.J. to return to AEW.

The TikTok star and one-half of The Costo Guys participated in the post-Full Gear 2024 media scrum after picking up a victory over QT Marshall during the PPV pre-show.

AJ, real name Andrew Befumo had previously announced that he had signed a one-match deal with the company but claimed that he was open to more opportunities if they came along.

The 48-year-old was asked what he thought about potentially returning to the company during the scrum, and the former indie wrestler said that he’d love to be back if he’s welcomed back:

“I love it here. I do. I love it here. I loved every minute of this. If I’m welcomed back, I’m going to be back and I’m going to bring the Boom!”

The AEW president Tony Khan who was sitting beside the social media star quickly extended an invitation saying that Befumo was welcomed back to his company.

While many fans initially questioned the involvement of the Costo Guys in an AEW story, the social media stars have proven their worth with all the buzz their involvement has generated for the promotion.

The duo of A.J. & Big Justice even brought in The Rizzler as a backup for their Full Gear encounter who got one of the biggest pops of the night. You can check out the reactions to Rizzler’s appearance here.

Tony Khan Talks Appealing To Casual Fans With Costco Guys Involvement

0

AEW may be considered a more ‘hardcore’ wrestling product compared to its rivals in WWE, but Tony Khan isn’t afraid to cater to the casual fan. During AEW Full Gear’s Ground Zero pre-show, fans saw A.J. Befumo of the viral Costco Guys take on QT Marshall. While Befumo does have wrestling experience, he is better known for his TikTok videos, in an example of AEW appealing to an audience wider than die-hard wrestling fans.

Speaking on the Full Gear post-show media scrum, Khan was asked about Befumo’s match and appealing to the more casual fans. Making light of a previous interview where he called AEW for “sickos,” Khan said he had no issue catering to a more lax audience.

“I love reaching the casual fan… I’m a sicko wrestling fan but I care about the casual wrestling fan. I care about anybody who watches wrestling.”

Khan shared how he got into wrestling in a casual manner, as his introduction to the industry came through Sgt. Slaughter’s role on G.I. Joe. Khan had been unaware that Slaughter was a wrestler before the show, and said that a guest appearance by Hulk Hogan on the A-Team turned Khan onto watching wrestling.

Returning to the present, Khan suggested that bringing the Costco Guys on board may help some people get more into pro wrestling.

“I do believe that there’s going to be some kids and some young people and fans of all ages that probably have not watched a lot of wrestling that really liked Big Boom A.J, Big Justice, and The Rizzler.”

Khan also had some choice words for detractors of bringing the trio in, and believes their negativity may not just be about AEW appealing to casual fans.

“If anybody has anything negative to say about those guys, maybe they just have a negative outlook on a lot of things in life.”

Befumo also spoke on the media scrum with Khan inviting the wrestler/TikTok sensation to come back to AEW anytime he can. In the meantime, Khan won’t back down on appealing to casual audiences and continuing the tradition that got him into wrestling in the first place.

Daniel Garcia Brings Back Old TNT Title Belt, Announces Entry Into Continental Classic

0

Daniel Garcia has declared his entry into the upcoming Continental Classic tournament after picking up a huge victory at tonight’s Full Gear 2024 PPV.

The 26-year-old had set his sights on the TNT Championship after returning to the company and announcing his re-signing in Early October.

He challenged Jack Perry for the title at the latest AEW PPV. Perry tried to use his usual shenanigans to win the match. He distracted the referee by bringing the TNT title belt into the ring and low-blowed Garcia when the ref went to dispose the belt.

Daniel Garcia managed to kick out, however. He then delivered a couple of piledrivers to Perry and locked him into the Sharpshooter for the win.

Daniel Garcia Makes Big Announcement

The new TNT Champion took part in the post-show media scrum after Full Gear 2024. Garcia got rid of the custom title belt Perry had hand-painted and brought back the older design for the title during his appearance.

The young star went on to announce his entry into the 2024 Continental Classic tournament. The competition will begin at this Wednesday’s Dynamite on November 27.

DC has prior experience in the C2 tournament. He took part in the inaugural Continental Classic in 2023 as well. Garcia was in the blue league and he finished the tournament with three points.

Kazuchika Okada gets an automatic entry into the tournament as the defending Continental Champion. The full list of talents participating this year should be revealed on Wednesday.

Bobby Lashley Promises AEW Takeover After “Fantastic” PPV Debut

0

Bobby Lashley and the Hurt Syndicate are ready to take over AEW following the All Mighty’s first victory at one of the company’s pay-per-views. At AEW Full Gear, Lashley defeated Swerve Strickland via referee stoppage after trapping Swerve in the Hurt Lock. The win makes Lashley 2-0 in AEW after squashing opponents in a handicap match on Dynamite.

Speaking on the AEW Full Gear post-show media scrum, Lashley relished in his victory over the former AEW World Champion and promised big things to come.

“I think it was fantastic. The crowd here was amazing and I like the chant ‘We Hurt People.’ It’s good business. This group has been long overdue to start taking over and now that we’ve gotten to AEW it is time to take over. We need to start holding these titles hostage.”

The Hurt Syndicate has yet to hold gold in AEW since MVP’s arrival in September, but as Lashley made clear, he plans on changing this. Before Full Gear, the All Mighty told The Lame Guys that he plans to be in the AEW World Championship picture by Grand Slam in February 2025.

Lashley has reached the pinnacle as World Champion in WWE and TNA and now plans to add AEW to the list. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Bobby Lashley and the Hurt Syndicate’s plans to ‘take over’ All Elite Wrestling.

Mercedes Mone vs. Kris Statlander Makes Women’s Wrestling Record For AEW At Full Gear 2024

0

Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander made a new record for Women’s matches in AEW at tonight’s Full Gear PPV from Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Statlander challenged the former WWE star for the TBS Championship. She previously held the title for 174 days and lost the belt at Full Gear 2023 in a triple threat match where she wasn’t pinned.

Despite her best efforts, however, Kris was not able to dethrone Mone. The current champion won the match after biting her opponent’s leg and getting the pin afterward.

Mercedes Mone Breaks Another Record

The Women’s title match received praise from fans as one of the best in-ring encounters of the night but it wasn’t the only reason which made it a noteworthy bout.

Ending at 19 minutes 15 seconds, the match became the longest women’s match in the 5-year history of the company. The previous record was also held by Mone herself.

The former WWE champion had defeated Willow Nightingale in a hard-fought match at Double or Nothing in May. Mone won the TBS title in the match which ended at 18 minutes.

Mercedes Mone had broken her own previous record of the Forbidden Door 2024 match against Stephanie Vaquer at the time.

All the states clearly show that the Mandalorian star is proving to be a catalyst for big change in the women’s division in AEW. She’s helping provide them more opportunities to showcase their talent.

Mercedes Moné Praises AEW’s Women, Confirms Wrestle Dynasty Role

0

Mercedes Moné had the toughest match of her AEW career at Full Gear, where she retained the AEW TBS Championship against Kris Statlander. Speaking on the post-show media scrum, the CEO praised Statlander and Willow Nightingale as two names in AEW to watch.

“Everytime I wrestle these women in AEW, they’re legit the best. For me, Willow is up there, but Kris, she has given me my hardest match that I’ve ever had here in AEW.”

Mone and Nightingale locked horns at AEW Double or Nothing 2024, which marked the CEO’s first match for AEW. On that night, Mone won the TBS title from Nightingale and has held onto the gold ever since.

Mercedes Mone on Wrestle Dynasty

With Full Gear in the rear-view mirror, Moné is looking ahead to Wrestle Dynasty, which will see representation from AEW. Responding to a question from Fightful, Moné addressed her potential involvement with the show.

“If I am the TBS Champion and New Japan Strong Women’s Champion, you can expect me at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan at the Tokyo Dome. I’m going to talk to my CEO [points at Tony Khan]. We’ll have to plan that out.”

Wrestle Dynasty will take place on January 5, from the legendary Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, one day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19. The show will see involvement from AEW, New Japan, Ring of Honor, CMLL, and STARDOM. Stay tuned to SEScoops for all the latest on Wrestle Dynasty and Moné’s busy schedule as a champion in AEW and New Japan.

Ludwig Kaiser Surprises Fans With wXw Return, Confronts Champion

0

WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser shocked fans with his unannounced return to wXw, and teased something with one of the promotion’s top stars. Kaiser appeared at wXw Broken Rules on November 23, in his first appearance for the legendary German wrestling promotion since 2019.

Kaiser wrestled as Axel Deiter Jr. during his wXw, and the fans in attendance gave the Imperium member a hero’s welcome. During his return, Kaiser confronted wXw Unified World Wrestling Champion Peter Tihanyi, exciting fans at the prospect of a match with the champion and more involvement with wXw.

Kaiser’s surprise appearance at wXw Broken Rules highlights WWE’s newfound willingness to work with other promotions in 2024. WWE has forged partnerships with Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Marigold, and TNA Wrestling, which was once WWE’s most direct competition in the United States.

Back in WWE, Kaiser has been showing new-found aggression on TV, interestingly at a time when GUNTHER has shown some doubts ever since his loss at WWE Crown Jewel. On the latest episode of WWE Raw, Kaiser interfered in the Intercontinental title match, keeping Sheamus from winning the one title he’s yet to hold in WWE. The attack could see Kaiser put into the IC title picture which is being dominated by Champion Bron Breakker.

Ludwig Kaiser Struggled To Breathe After Wrestling Bron Breakker

Whether fans see more from Kaiser in wXw, or if this was just a one-off, the German Superstar delighted the fans with his appearance and confrontation with Tihanyi. Stay tuned to SEScoops for the latest on Ludwig Kaiser and his work in WWE, as well as any future appearances outside the Sports Entertainment juggernaut.

Baron Corbin Wins Gold Medal At International Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

0

Baron Corbin has earned a gold medal of his own in Jiu Jitsu.

Real name Thomas Pestock, the former WWE star competed in the IBJJF Tampa International Open 2024. He participated in the Master 2 Ultra Heavy division first earlier in the day but failed to win the gold medal. Corbin defeated Bradley Curtis in the semifinal before being defeated himself by Franck Alphonse.

The former US Champion didn’t ponder over his loss for too long, however, and he entered the Master 2 Open division later in the day.

Pestock was successful in his quest this time. He first defeated Fi Li and Bradley Curtis in the semifinals. The wrestling veteran then bested his teammate Diogo Rodrigues Ponciano Freitas to finally win the gold medal:

Baron Corbin trains at the Rudos BJJ in Florida. This isn’t his first medal in the sport as he previously also won gold at the Jiu Jitsu World League back in December 2023.

The former champion famously faced Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle in the latter’s final pro wrestling match at WrestleMania 35 which Corbin won.

When WWE let go Corbin by not renewing his contract earlier this month, Angle vented his frustrations over the company wasting the talent he put over in his retirement match.

After hitting a Piledriver, Garcia put Perry in a modified Texas Cloverleaf, pulling back on the ankle of his opponent that he had been working on for a lot of the match. After wrenching back he forced the Scapegoat to tap out.

Mariah May Turns on Mina Shirakawa and Goes Through Table at AEW Full Gear 2024

Mariah May attempted to attack her longtime friend and STARDOM tag team partner Mina Shirakawa at the AEW Full Gear PPV event tonight.

Whilst many had expected Toni Storm to make her emphatic return during the Champagne Celebration segment, it would be May turning on her friend to end the segment.

Shirakawa would avoid the attack from May before driving her off of the ramp and onto the tables at the side of the stage. Mina was bleeding from the mouth after falling and the commentary team questioned if she had lost a tooth.

Mercedes Mone “Silences Haters” with Epic Match at AEW Full Gear 2024

Mercedes Mone retained her TBS Championship tonight at the AEW Full Gear 2024 event against Kris Statlander in a fantastic match on the middle of the card.

Mone demanded that Kamille stay backstage during the match, and she would go out and have arguably the best match of her AEW career so far against the former Champ Statlander.

Fans were quick to celebrate the epic contest between the two women, with one claiming that this performance will “silence the haters.” It was a brilliant contest and well worth the watch back on demand.
