Rey Mysterio’s Daughter Aalyah Expected At WWE Performance Center

ByMike ReichlinProfessional Wrestling Journalist

Aalyah Gutierrez, daughter of Rey Mysterio and sister of Dominik Mysterio, is expected to begin at the WWE Performance Center shortly, according to PWInsider.

The timing lines up with photos friends have shared from a send-off celebration pointing to a move to Florida. The cake reads “Florida’s about to get 619’D” and is topped with cutouts of Gutierrez in wrestling gear. A caption on one of the posts reads, “you’re WWE’s problem now… c u on tv.”

WWE has not announced a signing, and nobody in the Mysterio family has publicly confirmed a contract.

Rey Mysterio laid out the timeline on Undertaker’s Six Feet Under podcast, in an episode recorded in May and released in June. He said Aalyah first stepped into the ring in October 2025, returned for a two-week stint in February, and was getting ready to establish herself at the Performance Center in Orlando. She graduated from UC San Diego with a degree in human biology.

NXT General Manager Robert Stone responded to those comments on X on June 10, saying he would like to give Aalyah a shot in NXT at some point. That was Stone talking publicly, not a WWE announcement.

Gutierrez has appeared on WWE television before without wrestling, most prominently in the 2020 angle involving Buddy Murphy, Seth Rollins, Rey and Dominik. Her father first discussed her taking up training in February.
