He is none other than the veteran star, Dustin Rhodes. In a post shared on social media by WWE, Aalyah Gutierrez was unveiled as part of the newest class of WWE recruits for the Performance Center. The news drew significant attention, and Dustin Rhodes reacted via his X account with a heart emoji.
Aalyah Gutierrez began pursuing the path to become a professional wrestler just like her father, Rey Mysterio, and brother, Dominik Mysterio, a while back. Her reveal as one of WWE’s newest recruits shows she has the same passion, determination, and in-ring acumen as her family members.
Moreover, Aalyah has an advantage over the entire WWE class of recruits. Beyond being the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, Aalyah has prior WWE television experience. She first appeared as a child in the early 2010s as part of Rey Mysterio’s storylines.
Aalyah also appeared as an adult in the early 2020s, just as Dominik Mysterio started in the business. She even had an angle with former WWE superstar Buddy Matthews, and her brother famously threw a drink in her face at WrestleMania 39.
With the daughter of the Mysterio family ready to take their legacy forward, it will be interesting to see her tenure in WWE.
