AEW has booked two more title matches for its fourth annual WrestleDream pay-per-view. The event is a yearly tribute to the late wrestling legend Antonio Inoki, who Tony Khan once labeled wrestling’s greatest dreamer.
It was previously announced that Mercedes Moné will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Queen Aminata during Tuesday’s loaded Grand Slam: France. The winner of that match will advance to WrestleDream for a title defense against Thekla, who won a #1 contender’s match over Willow Nightingale at All Out.
AEW has also confirmed that The Young Bucks will defend the World Tag Team Championship at WrestleDream. Nick Jackson and Matt Jackson will put the straps up against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight of The Don Callis Family. The challengers earned the match by defeating Darby Allin and Steven Borden at All Out, where The Bucks dethroned Cage and Cope in a Ladder Match that included FTR.
WrestleDream IV will take place on Saturday, October 17 from Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, FL. Below is the updated card coming out of AEW Collision:
Clockwork Carnage for the AEW World Championship: Will Ospreay (c) or Kazuchika Okada vs. Samoa Joe or Jack Perry vs. six competitors TBD
AEW Women’s World Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) or Queen Aminata vs. Thekla
AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher)
