Bayley's ring gear at Saturday Night's Main Event almost didn't happen.
The WWE veteran faced Sol Ruca at the December 13 event in Washington, D.C., wearing black and red attire that paid tribute to John Cena's debut gear from 2002. However, the outfit required a last-minute miracle to come together.

"My original gear got stuck in some bad weather, so I text our seamstress team Friday morning asking for a miracle," Bayley wrote on social media Sunday. "Lori here MADE THIS GEAR FOR ME IN 24 HOURS. I gave her the colors and she got to work. That is a TRUE superstar. Thank you @nogimmickgear!!! #NeverGiveUp"
Lori Gassie of No Gimmick Gear crafted the complete custom outfit overnight, allowing Bayley to honor Cena on the night of his final match. Cena wore red and black trunks when he debuted against Kurt Angle on June 27, 2002 — the night he declared he possessed "ruthless aggression."
Bayley ultimately lost to Sol Ruca via roll-up in approximately eight minutes. The NXT star hit her Sol Snatcher finisher before countering Bayley's desperation roll-up attempt to secure the upset victory. Post-match, both competitors showed mutual respect alongside their respective partners Lyra Valkyria and Zaria.
