Britt Baker was quick to shut down a fan who called out Rebel online for a reason.
A user on social media questioned the logic of playing the tribute video to Rebel 45 minutes into the special Rebel Heart edition of Dynamite this week, instead of at the beginning. His question caught the attention of Rebel’s close friend and former AEW ally, Britt Baker, who responded via X.
The Doctor reminded him that Rebel was part of her ‘Waiting Room’ segment at the time and hoped that his confusion was called. She wrote:

Britt Baker competed in her first AEW match in nearly two years
Britt Baker had been absent from AEW for nearly two years before making her shocking return at All In 2026. She returned to in-ring action on the Rebel Heart Dynamite episode, teaming up with Persephone and Hikaru Shida to battle Hyan, Maya World, and Thunder Rosa in a trios match.
The D.M.D. showed no signs of ring rust and delivered an exceptional showing. In the end, Rebel came down the ramp in her wheelchair and handed Baker her glove, which she put on and used to apply the lockjaw on Hyan to score the victory.
The two former AEW allies then shared an emotional moment on stage, as Rebel continues her fight with ALS with full support of AEW, her friends, and fans across the globe.
