Dominik Mysterio has found a powerful new alliance, but it came at the expense of someone who thought they were fighting by his side.
At AAA Verano de Escándalo, Dominik teamed with El Grande Americano to take on Los Perros del Mal’s Daga and Angel. Although the two had recently put their differences behind them, it quickly became clear that the partnership wasn’t built to last.
As El Grande Americano absorbed a relentless beating and desperately reached for a tag, Dominik stunned the crowd by stepping off the apron and walking away, leaving his partner to fend for himself.
The betrayal made sense moments later. Walking up the entrance ramp, Dominik was welcomed by Dorian Roldán and the towering Omos. After shaking hands with both men, the AAA Mega Champion officially joined the dominant El Ojo faction.
With El Hijo del Vikingo currently sidelined following ACL surgery, El Ojo had an important spot to fill. Dominik has now stepped into that role while also gaining Omos as a formidable ally to help strengthen his grip on the AAA Mega Championship.
