Fallon Henley had a blunt message after a fan put their hands on her at Madison Square Garden.
Henley and Lainey Reid opened Saturday Night’s Main Event by beating Paige and Brie Bella to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. As Henley walked up the aisle with Reid and Jacy Jayne, a young fan seated along the entrance ramp was seen shoving her. After the show, she addressed it on social media in four words.
Don’t touch the wrestlers. Period.
It’s the latest in a run of ugly fan behavior. Jey Uso recently described a moment at Clash in Italy where a fan grabbed Roman Reigns’ hand along the aisle and wouldn’t let go, forcing Jey to step in and pry his cousin loose. In March, an incident at an independent show in Mexico saw Nino Hamburguesa elbow a fan who had allegedly been provoking him.
For Henley and Reid, the Fatal Influence duo, the title win should have been the whole story. Instead, the moment doubled as another reminder of where the line sits between a paying customer and the person doing the job.
