IShowSpeed recently said that he can see himself taking WWE more seriously down the line and committing fully to the promotion.
The internet star offered his clearest signal yet of a longer-term WWE future during a new interview, pointing to a deeper involvement after his recent in-ring debut.
Speaking with The Pat McAfee Show, Speed described WWE as a natural fit and said he expects to immerse himself in it at some point, even as he weighs his overall direction.
WWE, I mean like, it makes sense. I genuinely think at some point in my career, I will take WWE a bit more serious and actually able to deliver my full self into it and immerse myself into it. Right now, I’m still figuring out what I really want to do, you know?” Speed said.
IShowSpeed’s WrestleMania 42 Debut
After a couple of appearances for the company and competing in Royal Rumble match, Speed made his full in-ring debut at WrestleMania 42. He teamed with Austin Theory and Logan Paul to take on LA Knight and The Usos.
The match capped a build that ran through Speed’s running feud with LA Knight, which included a confrontation that left Speed showing off injuries on television.
Speed’s most notable on-screen WWE moment before WrestleMania came when he was involved in a title change on Raw, part of his growing role with the promotion.
For now, Speed remains an active presence in WWE while he considers ramping up his commitment.
