Joe Hendry keeps giving surprises.
The former NXT Champion made an unannounced appearance on SmackDown this week, taking part in the Andre the Giant Memorial battle royal. While the viral star failed to score a victory in the bout, his night did not end there.
The former TNA World Champion also attended the Hall of Fame ceremony that took place after the Blue Branded Show, though he wasn't alone. Joe Hendry was instead accompanied by fellow wrestler Gia Miller. Miller, who is currently signed to TNA wrestling, also posted a photo of the two on her Instagram.
A number of Gia's friends from the TNA locker room commented on the couple making their relationship public. This included Elayna Black, who wrote 'FINALLYYYYY', and Indie Hartwell, who claimed that it was the hardest launch ever.
Joe Hendry hinted at a potential main roster call-up on this past Tuesday's episode of NXT, so it's likely that we'll see more of him on SmackDown in the coming weeks.
