The clip fueled speculation about where the two now stand after months of animosity tied to Femi’s rivalry with Brock Lesnar. WWE’s own recap of the segment noted Femi telling Heyman to pass along a thank you to Lesnar, a notably cordial tone given their history.

Femi beat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, won the 2026 King of the Ring in June, and closed the loop on the rivalry by defeating Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam on August 1.
