Rhea Ripley was recently hospitalized just weeks before her scheduled Women's Title match against Jade Cargill at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Ripley's husband, Buddy Matthews, shared an image on his Instagram Stories showing Ripley in a hospital bed. The photo featured the 'Wasted' graphic from Grand Theft Auto V overlaid on the image.
Matthews did not provide additional details about the hospitalization. However, Ripley was wearing a hospital bracelet in the photo, indicating she was admitted as an inpatient.
Rhea Ripley soon took to her social media and posted a picture with the caption:

The hospitalization comes at a critical time for Ripley, who is set to challenge Cargill for the Women's Title at WrestleMania 42.
Ripley earned the championship opportunity by winning the 2026 Women's Elimination Chamber match. Cargill has held the Women's Title since November 2025.
