Stacks Shares First Update Since Scary NXT Injury

Stacks shared a hospital photo and a gym update after being stretchered out of an NXT live event in Sudbury, though he didn't reveal the nature of his injury.

Stacks is back in the gym, and his sense of humor made it through just fine.

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo shared his first update on his Instagram Story since he was stretchered out of an NXT live event on Oct. 16. One photo showed him in a hospital bed wearing a neck brace and flipping off his doctor.

Doc was concerned about my ‘attitude’.. Told ’em it’s a preexisting condition. The show goes on.

The next slide showed him training.

Right back to the grind

Stacks was hurt during an eight-man tag in Sudbury, Ontario, teaming with Birthright partners Lexis King, Uriah Connors and Charlie Dempsey against Tony D’Angelo, Tavion Heights, Shiloh Hill and Shawn Spears. He took a back body drop over the top rope and, according to fans in attendance, hit the ring post before landing hard on the floor.

The match was called off, and paramedics took him out on a stretcher in a neck brace. Connors posted the next day that Stacks was “alive and well.”

WWE has not disclosed the nature of the injury, and Stacks didn’t say what he hurt or when he expects to be cleared.
