The full match order for SummerSlam Night 2 is out. PWInsider reports the lineup from opener to closer, with the Undisputed WWE Championship picture kicking off the show and the World Heavyweight Championship closing it.
Here is the full Night 2 match order:
- Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn (No. 1 Contender’s Match, Undisputed WWE Championship)
- Trick Williams vs. Baron Corbin (United States Championship)
- Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match
- Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Penta vs. Chad Gable (Intercontinental Championship)
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins (WWE World Heavyweight Championship)
Balor and Zayn opening the show carries real weight given what’s on the line. The winner becomes the new No. 1 contender for whoever leaves Night 1 holding the Undisputed WWE Championship, meaning tonight’s first match effectively sets up WWE’s next world title program before the rest of the card even gets going.
Trick Williams defends the United States Championship against Baron Corbin second, followed by the five-way Interim WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match, with Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend all climbing for the vacant title and a future shot at Rhea Ripley once she’s medically cleared to return.
Danhausen and Dominik Mysterio follow in a match with the $100,000 Mysterio originally gave Danhausen to curse Oba Femi now on the line. Penta defends the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable directly before the main event.
Reigns and Rollins close the show with the World Heavyweight Championship at stake, the first one-on-one meeting between the two former Shield stablemates since the 2022 Royal Rumble. Rollins never dropped the title Reigns currently holds in a traditional match, and he has made clear he still considers it his.
