Super7 appears to be the new home of AEW action figures. UK retailer Loaded Dice has opened pre-orders for AEW Deluxe Action Figure Wave 01, with Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight leading the first wave and an expected release of July 2027.
Loaded Dice has both figures at £23.99 each against a recommended retail price of £27.67, and a second UK shop, Comic Warehouse, describes the Knight figure as an officially licensed Super7 Deluxe figure made of PVC.
No formal announcement from Super7 or AEW has surfaced so far, so the retail pages are the first concrete sign of the new deal.
Ospreay heads the wave as AEW World Champion. He beat Kenny Omega for the title at All In on August 30 and kept it by winning the eight-man Clockwork Carnage match at WrestleDream on October 17. It isn’t his first Super7 figure either: the company released a New Japan Pro-Wrestling Ultimates figure of him in 2021.
How Jazwares Lost The AEW License
Jazwares had made AEW figures since the Unrivaled Collection launched in 2020. Split rumors first spread in September 2025, when Matt Cardona read a statement from Jazwares chief brand officer Jeremy Padawer on the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast saying the company was “making AEW product in 2026.” The podcast had no word on anything past that year.
The bottom fell out in May. Collector and YouTuber Kyle Peterson reported that Jazwares laid off its entire AEW team on Friday, May 8. Padawer, by then the company president, posted and deleted a message thanking AEW and referencing “next chapters,” according to Wrestling Figure News.
Tony Khan was asked about it by Dave Meltzer on the May 14 Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor media call. Khan said a change was possible and “could potentially be a positive change for AEW and the fans,” but declined to say more. Peterson said at the time he had heard Super7 was the front runner after New York Toy Fair, with Boss Fight Studio, McFarlane and Jada also floated by others.
What The Deluxe Tier Signals
Starting AEW at Deluxe rather than Super7’s flagship Ultimates line is a pricing call. Super7’s recent Invincible Deluxe Wave 01 figures stand 7 inches with 32 points of articulation and sold for $30 each, while Ultimates carry the swappable heads, hands and accessory loads at a higher price. Super7 hasn’t released specs for the AEW figures yet.
Jazwares product hasn’t fully dried up in the meantime. Its Owen Hart Supreme figure, a Ringside Collectibles exclusive, opened for pre-order in August with shipping expected in early December. A Ringside exclusive Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana two-pack, shown as a render at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, still had no confirmed release as of May.
Comic-Con has long been a stage for AEW and WWE action figure reveals, so Super7’s next major convention slot is the obvious place to watch for the full AEW lineup. Until then, the July 2027 date means a long gap between articulated AEW lines.
