Vince Russo has seen enough of Triple H’s WWE. His verdict is blunt.
The former WWE head writer, now a co-owner of Juggalo Championship Wrestling, unloaded on the company’s creative direction during an appearance on Talk Is Jericho with Chris Jericho.
Bro, this is the worst creative in the history of the WWE. This is worse than Stephanie [McMahon]… ‘Cause Triple H is the politician. Triple H is in the seat and now we’re seeing what Triple H can do. And let me tell you something, bro. What Triple H can do is not pretty.
Russo’s bigger complaint is who Triple H will and will not listen to.
You got a guy like Triple H. Obviously, they’re having a problem creatively. Is Triple H ever going to have a conversation with ME? Absolutely not.
Then came the pitch.
And, bro, that’s stupid because I can help you because I’m not as close to it as you are. I’m seeing it completely differently. And you may be missing how casual viewers are looking at your show.
The offer is a familiar one. Russo floated a similar idea to Tony Khan not long ago after praising some of AEW’s booking, and he has been a steady critic of Triple H’s creative for years, so the take lands with a track record attached.
Triple H has run WWE creative since 2022, and Vince McMahon severed ties with the company in 2024. That puts Russo’s criticism on the current regime rather than a past one.
