WWE has less than 10 days until WrestleMania 40 comes at fans. They may be getting close to the show of shows, but the company isn\'t finished adding matches to the card.
WrestleMania 40 will take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on April 6 and 7. SEScoops will have total coverage of the event, and the show may be even larger by the time the date comes around.
WWE is expected to announce three new matches from the SmackDown side for WrestleMania 40. Now, we have a better idea what the show of shows will look like when they are finished wrapping up the card.
More WrestleMania 40 Matches
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that a lineup for both nights of WrestleMania 40 exists, but it is confidential. They also have, at least, three matches to add to the show of shows this year.
Three new matches are reportedly from the Smackdown side, and it\'s anticipated that angles for these matches will be hinted at, if not finalized, on the March 29 SmackDown. Official match announcements may be delayed until later in the week.
Possible WrestleMania 40 Additions
It was also noted that an LWO vs. Legado del Fantastma match might take place on the WrestleMania card in some form, either as a tag team or eight-man contest, but that is contingent on the status of Angel Garza & Humberto. Bobby Lashley & Street Profits vs. Authors of Pain & Karrion Kross is a potential match as well.
As of right now, there is no planned women\'s tag team title match, but something involving Damage Control is anticipated.
Dominik Mysterio\'s involvement in Rey Mysterio\'s match on March 22 teased the beginning of a storyline, but it\'s unknown when WWE might pull the trigger on that.
