AEW star RUSH is not closing the door on a potential move to WWE.
Fielding fan questions on his YouTube channel on September 6, RUSH was asked directly whether WWE could be in his future. He didn’t claim to know the answer.
However, he made clear his current focus remains on AEW, where he says he still has big goals left to accomplish, while stopping short of ruling WWE out entirely down the line.
I don’t know, brother. Honestly, I don’t know. Right now, my present is here and I have big goals here, but never say never, right? Honestly.
RUSH added that plenty of his own fans have told him they’d like to see him in WWE, and he said their input carries real weight with him, separate from the tougher persona he plays as El Toro Blanco.

He also pushed back gently on a fan who told him WWE would ruin his career, pointing out that his fanbase is genuinely split. He said some want him to jump, others want him to stay put. That division is something he’s simply come to expect.
Yeah, brother. Every person is a world of their own. Every fan is a world of their own. Some tell me, ‘Go over there.’ Others tell me, ‘Stay.’ That’s how it’s always going to be. Always.
He added:
More than anything, I see that all the fans of El Toro Blanco RUSH want me to go over there, and the fans matter a lot to me, even if you don’t believe it.”
“You already know that inside the ring I don’t respect any bastard and all that, but outside the ring, I have respect for all my fans. Always, always. I’ve always shown you that when I’m in Mexico.
He closed by reassuring fans that he isn’t sitting idle waiting for a decision to be made for him, saying he’s continuing to work and stay ready, with any future move guided by what’s best for his career, his family, and the fans who’ve supported him from the start.

RUSH hasn’t wrestled for AEW since the July 1 Collision tapings and was left off the All In: London card, but nothing in his comments suggests he’s looking to leave the company anytime soon.
