Tuesday brought news of a couple of big departures from the promotion. This included the head of creative Tommy Dreamer as well as longtime producer and agent Sami Callihan.
Dreamer revealed the news during his latest Busted Open Radio appearance. Callihan, on the other hand, took to Twitter. He mentioned that he thought he would be offered a position in creative, but instead was let go from the company.

Fightful Select provided some backstage news on these changes. Regarding Dreamer’s departure, sources claimed that the move was anticipated by people within the company, but many expected it to happen after Slammiversary PPV on June 28.
There has been obvious speculation about who could be replacing the ECW veteran in his position. Former SmackDown head writer Road Dogg has been discussed for the spot within the promotion, though it’s unknown if he’s actually been approached for the job.
Regarding Sami, the report noted that he had been working in the marketing department apart from his other duties. He had actually designed and produced the majority of the TNA merchandise in the last year.
