Bayley has been replaced.
The status of the former Women’s Champion has been a major point of discussion among wrestling fans after reports revealed that her contract is set to expire before the end of this year.
Many believe that the company wrote her off TV with the post-match beatdown at the hands of Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event, and the young star picking up the victory over the veteran is proof that she is planning to leave the company.
Now another move from the promotion is only expected to fuel the rumors further. TKO-owned On Location service had originally been promoting Bayley for a VIP experience at the SummerSlam prospect tryout.
The former Champion, however, has now been replaced by Ivy Nile on the graphic, and Nile is also the one listed for the Meet & Greet on the details page:
Whether this just means that Bayley will be missing SummerSlam or that her time with the company is coming to a close will only be revealed in time. For now it does give the fans something more to talk about.
