Bayley is taking time to reflect on her WWE journey as questions continue to swirl about her future with the company. The former Women’s Champion recently opened up about reaching a point in her career where she fully understands her value in the wrestling business.
Bayley’s current WWE deal is expected to expire before the end of 2026. Amid uncertainty about her future, she dropped a vlog from her July 18 match against Lyra Valkyria at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden.
The former Women’s Champion said wrestling at Madison Square Garden remains a special milestone, but this appearance felt different as it made her reflect on her career and everything she has achieved. Bayley said:
It’s a big moment for both of us. Just to wrestle inside the Garden, perform inside of the Garden is obviously like bucket list for a lot of performers. Whether you’re in sports, or you’re a musician, or you’re in the WWE — yeah, it’s a big deal anytime you get to be a part of it. I’ve been doing this for so long and I’ve wrestled in the Garden multiple times — a really good amount of times, thankfully.
She added that she now has a stronger understanding of her place and value in the wrestling business, while confidently warning that Lyra Valkyria would find out the hard way when they met in the ring. She said:
But this one just feels different. I think the time and the stage I am in my career right now, I feel like I’m taking a further look back at everything, or seeing it from a different view and knowing my place in this business and knowing my worth in this business. And Lyra’s going to find out the hard way, let’s just say that.
