Brandi Rhodes made headlines for her spot with Randy Orton recently and had some words following that.
At the recent WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event, Brandi’s husband, Cody Rhodes, squared off against Randy Orton in a singles bout. It was a hellacious bout right from the get-go. During a particular moment, Orton came out of the ring and engaged in a trash-talking spot with Brandi Rhodes, who was sitting in the audience with Cody’s mother.
However, Brandi was not going to sit quietly and, in a huge shocker, threw her drink right in the Viper’s face. After the event, the former WWE ring announcer took to her X and reflected on the spot, saying:
Brandy with a Y throws drinks. Brandi with an I owns a children’s boutique. They got it right.
The match between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton was a hard-hitting affair. It even drove Rhodes to the point that he was about to hit Orton’s punt kick on him, but the Apex Predator begged him on his knees. However, right at that moment, Orton low-blowed both Rhodes and the referee at the same time.
This allowed him to hit the RKO on the American Nightmare. He pinned him for the three-count after the original referee, who was taken out, came back to count the pinfall. With Orton beating Rhodes in his hometown, it will be interesting to see how he will soak in this major defeat.
