Cody Rhodes Doubts Pat McAfee as 'Next Sylvester Stallone'

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes expressed skepticism about Pat McAfee's involvement in his feud with Randy Orton.

Appearing on the Your Mom's House podcast, Rhodes was asked about McAfee. His response referenced Mariah Carey's infamous dismissal of Jennifer Lopez.

Remember when someone asked Mariah Carey about JLo? That's where I stand on the Pat McAfee thing. I don't know him. People think WWE reaches out to some of the outside folks and asks them to come to the party and they don't realize that it's usually them pitching to come to the party.

Rhodes Questions McAfee's Hollywood Ambitions

'The American Nightmare' continued his critique, suggesting the former NFL punter needs people around him willing to say no. Rhodes specifically questioned recent comparisons of McAfee to Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone.

I think it's flattering that you want to be in my match. Cool. I don't know him. I respect the hustle from building the show up and the incredible success with College GameDay. I just wish someone in his orbit and circle would say no every now and again. You need those people around you to go, 'I don't know.' The next Sylvester Stallone, Pat? I don't know.
