Darby Allin has successfully retained the AEW TNT Champion on Dynamite: Fright Night.
Allin defended the title against Josh Alexander of the Don Callis Family in St. Louis. Late in the match, Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta tried to interfere.
Sting’s son, Steven Borden appeared from the crowd in a clown mask and cleared them out. Allin then reversed Alexander’s hold into a pin to retain.
The win keeps Allin in position for the Blood and Guts match next week alongside Borden, Adam Copeland, Will Ospreay and the Young Bucks against the Don Callis Family.
Darby Allin is currently enjoying his record-tying third TNT Championship reign. In August, he defeated Kevin Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere match at All In to win the title.
