The wrestling world is mourning the loss of “The Butcher” Andy Williams, who passed away Saturday at age 48.
Enjoy Wrestling has issued a statement on his passing. Enjoy Wrestling Co-Owner Kurt Hackimer revealed that Williams was competing at an Enjoy Wrestling event when he collapsed at ringside following his match and struck his head on the floor.
Promotion staff and two on-site doctors attended to him immediately, and an ambulance was called.

According to Hackimer, the wrestler was initially conscious but unresponsive, and his condition deteriorated quickly as his pulse faded.

Williams competed in AEW from 2019 to 2025 as one half of a tag team with The Blade, and he was also a member of the metal band Every Time I Die.
