Rhea Ripley has had enough of her critics online.
Days after WWE ruled her out of SummerSlam and set an interim title ladder match in her place, the WWE Women’s Champion took to X on July 22 with a blunt message for social media users she considers delusional.
There are a lot of tiny little idiotic humans on this app. Literally good for nothing, know nothing, hypocritical, terrible excuses for humans… The amount of delusion is funny af. Literal jokes.
She left no room for confusion about the target.
If this triggers you, then it’s directed at YOU. Hope this helps.
Ripley recently detailed the torn meniscus keeping her sidelined, an injury suffered on May 31 during her title defense against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy. She hasn’t been medically cleared since, and the tricky nature of the tear has made the recovery slower than hoped.
Interim Title Set For SummerSlam
WWE isn’t stripping Ripley of the championship. Instead, acting SmackDown General Manager Adam Pearce announced on July 17 that a five-woman ladder match at SummerSlam will crown an Interim WWE Women’s Champion, with qualifying matches running on SmackDown in the weeks prior. Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill have already punched their tickets.
Whoever climbs the ladder will eventually face Ripley to determine the undisputed champion once she’s cleared. It’s a first for WWE’s main roster, which has never used an interim title before.
WWE SummerSlam 2026 takes place across two nights, August 1 and 2, from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
