Several women will climb the ladders, but only one will seize the coveted briefcase hanging above the ring at WWE Money in the Bank
The first Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier took place on Monday night’s episode of WWE Raw in Birmingham, with Sol Ruca, Lyra Valkyria, and Maxxine Dupri battling it out in a triple threat. Ruca earned the win by pinning Valkyria.
The closing moments of this MITB qualifying match saw Ruca land a dropkick on Dupri and a shoulderbreaker to Valkyria. When the former NXT Women’s North American Champion then went up top, Valkyria met her there. Dupri briefly hoisted Valkyria onto her shoulders, only to find herself pushed into Ruca seconds later. As Ruca fell to the apron down below, Valkyria hit a Nightwing on Dupri; before she could secure a pinfall on The Vision member, however, a returning Bayley pulled the referee out of the ring. Amidst Valkyria’s shock, Ruca then snuck up from behind to deliver a Sol Snatcher for the win.
The 2026 Money in the Bank premium live event will take WWE to the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana on October 10. Similar to Ruca, Bron Breakker cemented his spot in the Men’s MITB ladder match on Raw, in his case by defeating Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page.
The 2025 Money in the Bank ladder matches resulted in Seth Rollins and Naomi as the winners, respectively. Every women’s MITB winner has successfully cashed in her contract in the past.
