Another NXT star could be moving up soon.
Tonight’s episode of the development show was headlined by Tatum Paxley defending her Women’s North American Championship against Zaria.
The ending of the bout saw the defending champion delivering a big Coast to Coast but failing to get the pin on the challenger. Zaria next went for the spear, but Paxley hung onto the second rope, causing her opponent to drop out of the ring.
Zaria finally managed to get the upper hand after avoiding a moonsault from the defending champion. The Australian star then delivered an F5 to Tatum Paxley on the floor before putting the champion back in the ring and pinning her with another F5.
Tatum Paxley Moving To Main Roster?
The episode went off the air with Zaria celebrating her first championship in WWE after joining the company in 2024. Though the bigger story might be what happened after the episode.
Fans in attendance noted that the former Champion was seen saying goodbye to the NXT audience after her loss, indicating the potential end of her run with the brand:
Tatum’s arch-rival Blake Monroe, has also been moved to SmackDown recently, though she is yet to make her in-ring debut for the brand. It’s possible that we will see the two former rivals coming face-to-face again if Paxley does get called up to the main roster herself.
