NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 Preview, Card And How To Watch

NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 airs Saturday, Oct. 31 from Orlando with Waller vs. D'Angelo, Jordan vs. Sinclair, a Spin the Wheel match and Danhausen hosting.

NXT Halloween Havoc 2026 takes place Saturday, October 31, from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, with Grayson Waller defending the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo and Kelani Jordan putting the NXT Women’s Championship on the line against Wren Sinclair. Danhausen hosts, and the show airs live on The CW and ESPN Unlimited in the United States.

What’s At Stake

Five matches are announced, and both NXT titles are in play. Waller won the NXT Championship at Heatwave on August 30 by pinning D’Angelo, who has spent the weeks since earning a rematch. Jordan took the women’s title from Kendal Grey at the same show, and Sinclair has maneuvered her way into a shot at it.

Behind the title matches, Zilla Fatu gets his revenge match against BirthRight’s Charlie Dempsey, with the wheel deciding the rules. Danhausen was confirmed as host of Halloween Havoc after NXT General Manager Robert Stone found a note in his office demanding it, and Shawn Michaels made the announcement official.

Match Previews

NXT Championship: Grayson Waller (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo

Waller beat D’Angelo for the title at Heatwave, and D’Angelo wants it back in a one-on-one rematch.

  • At Heatwave, Waller pinned D’Angelo after Cruz Montana hit Spun The Block.
  • D’Angelo earned the rematch by beating Myles Borne on the October 13 episode of NXT. Borne got distracted by a cameraman standing on the ring apron, who turned out to be Tavion Heights.
  • The two opened the October 20 show with a face-to-face. Waller said he’s been waiting for this match and wants to prove who the superior star is, while D’Angelo called Waller a troll desperate for attention.
  • Both men signed with NXT around the same time five years ago and represented NXT 2.0 in WarGames. D’Angelo pointed out that others from that era have moved up to Raw and SmackDown, and called the two of them foundation guys.
  • D’Angelo is trying to become a two-time NXT Champion, and Waller is trying to hold off the man he dethroned.

NXT Women’s Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wren Sinclair

Sinclair got this match through a disguise, and Jordan has been fighting the result ever since.

  • Sinclair was suspended from NXT on the September 8 episode after hitting a referee while attacking Jordan.
  • While suspended, she entered the 20-woman battle royal on October 6 dressed as AAA’s Lady Shani and won it to become the number one contender.
  • Jordan objected, but Stone reinstated Sinclair and confirmed her status as the contender.
  • Kendal Grey was cleared to return from an ear injury and backed Sinclair. On October 20, Jordan ambushed Grey before the contract signing could get done, and the contract went unsigned.

Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal: Zilla Fatu vs. Charlie Dempsey

Fatu went to NXT management to bring the wheel back for his match with Dempsey, a member of the group that has been tormenting him.

  • BirthRight tried to recruit Fatu, he turned them down, and the group has been in his way since. After Fatu beat Lexis King on October 6, BirthRight attacked him and used the steel steps to crush his hand in the storyline.
  • On October 20, Fatu returned, attacked Uriah Connors and cost King and Dempsey their Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic quarterfinal.
  • Later that night he convinced Stone to book him against Dempsey with the wheel. Stone agreed on the condition that Fatu is medically cleared first.
  • Dempsey is the son of William Regal, who talked with him ahead of their September 8 match about his history with Umaga, Fatu’s father, and told him to handle things on his own.
  • The match type is decided by a spin of the wheel, a gimmick that goes back to WCW’s 1992 show. Our look at WCW Halloween Havoc matches worth revisiting covers the history.

Zaria vs. Izzi Dame (Non-Title)

  • Dame beat Layla Diggs on October 20. Afterward, Zaria, the NXT Women’s North American Champion, offered her a title match at Halloween Havoc.
  • Dame turned down the title shot but accepted the match, so the title isn’t on the line.
  • Zaria unified the Women’s North American and Women’s Speed titles at Heatwave.

Naraku vs. Shiloh Hill

  • Naraku interfered in Hill’s number one contender match against Jackson Drake in August, blinding Hill with mist. Hill later lost the first singles match between them when Naraku rubbed green mist in his face and hit Enter the Abyss. The second ended in a no contest.
  • In a video on October 20, Naraku said Hill is trying to prepare for the different colors of mist but isn’t ready for the black mist.
