Another experienced name has hit the open market.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reports, via sources close to her, that Mara Sade is now a free agent following the expiration of her TNA contract. She’s believed to be actively in negotiations, and has been in contact with multiple companies during the process.
Sade spent four years in WWE as Jakara Jackson, competing primarily on NXT as part of the Meta-Four faction alongside Lash Legend, Noam Dar, and Oro Mensah. She also got a main roster look, challenging for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on SmackDown with Legend in a Fatal Four-Way at Crown Jewel 2024. WWE released her in May 2025, and she resurfaced in TNA that July, rebranding as Mara Sade and becoming a fixture in the Knockouts division.
Her TNA run kept her busy right up to the end of her deal. Sade competed as recently as the promotion’s Albany tapings, beating Tasha Steelz in the first round of the TV Title Tournament. It’s not yet known whether she’s at this week’s TNA tapings in Philadelphia.
With TNA and WWE now operating under a working partnership, a return to NXT can’t be ruled out, and Sade has previously spoken about wanting to test herself wherever she can thrive, including a stated interest in wrestling in Japan. For now, she joins a growing pool of available talent as promotions across the industry stock up.
