AEW Announces First Ever Green Bay Show After Full Gear

ByMike ReichlinProfessional Wrestling Journalist

AEW is running Green Bay, Wisconsin for the first time in company history. The promotion announced Monday that the Saturday, November 21 episode of Collision will air live from the Resch Center, with early access premium seating opening September 8 and general tickets on sale September 14.

The booking lands one week after Full Gear 2026, which takes place November 14 at the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix. AEW is running standalone live editions of Dynamite and Collision that week rather than taping Collision after Dynamite, so Green Bay gets a live broadcast rather than a same-night taping. The venue for the Full Gear fallout Dynamite has not been announced, and neither has the November 25 Thanksgiving eve show.

Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Hikaru Shida and Thekla are the four names on the advertising graphic. Knight held the TNT Championship for 123 days and set the AEW record with nine defenses before dropping the title to Darby Allin at All In. Shida is a three-time former AEW Women’s World Champion, and Thekla held that title from February until July of this year. You can check every upcoming AEW on-sale date here.

Why Green Bay Now

Wisconsin isn’t new ground for AEW. The state has hosted five previous events, all of them in Milwaukee, starting in August 2021 with CM Punk’s first appearance on Dynamite. What’s changed is the scale. AEW’s most recent Wisconsin date was a Collision at the UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena on March 29, 2025, and WrestleTix tracked roughly 2,749 tickets distributed against a 2,959 seat setup in a room that maps out at 6,506.

Green Bay is the smaller metro on paper, but it’s a market WWE has worked since the Resch Center opened in 2002, and one where the numbers have been sliding. The building lists at 10,000, though its wrestling configuration is closer to 6,400 seats. WWE’s July 31 SmackDown from the Resch Center sold 4,705 tickets, its weakest main roster figure in the market since 2022, down from the 6,522 Raw drew there in June 2025.

That gives AEW a fresh market with a warm wrestling audience and a competitor whose grip on it has loosened. Tony Khan’s company is also selling this one on a stronger hook than a standard Saturday, with fallout from Full Gear and a live broadcast rather than a taped follow-up. Whether that translates in a city AEW has never touched is the first real test of the strategy.
