Bronson Reed Puts A Figure On His Weight Loss

Bronson Reed came back around 100 pounds lighter than the man who left.

WWE uploaded a vlog to its YouTube channel the day after Reed’s return at Sunday Night’s Main Event. The footage was shot last month at company headquarters in Stamford, during the visit that had already been reported as a sign the company intended to feature him.

Reed put a number on the change himself.

By the time I’m back, I’ll probably be around 265 to 270 pounds, and at my heaviest, when I came back to WWE at the end of 2022, I was 365 pounds. So you’re looking at about 90 to 100 pound difference since then to now in the last 3-4 years.

His reasoning was about staying relevant.

I feel like if you don’t evolve, you die. Especially in this business, you have to keep moving with the times, and I’m watching wrestling all the time. I think that puts me in the mood to have a target and a goal of what I want to do.

He closed the video with a warning.

So what you just saw was the hard work that I’ve been putting in while I’ve been gone. I was once told everything you’ve ever wanted is on the other side of discomfort. So I’ve been pushing myself day and night to make sure I’m at my best. And next time you see me, I’m putting everyone on the roster on notice because when Bronson Reed comes back, it’s on site.

Bronson Reed rebuilt himself into a monster

The delivery matched the promise. Reed ran down during Bron Breakker’s match with Oba Femi in Atlanta, cracked Femi with a chair to draw the disqualification, and then dropped multiple Tsunamis on him.

He posted a photo afterward with Breakker, Logan Paul, Austin Theory, and Maxxine Dupri, captioned that The Vision is whole. Reed had been out since tearing his biceps in February and used the months after surgery to change shape.
