GUNTHER has defeated Randy Orton at the WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 PLE to retain his World Heavyweight Championship.
The match appeared to come out of nowhere, with Orton challenging the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion following his World Title win at SummerSlam. Considering the stature of Orton as a legend in the game, it did make sense to have someone of his caliber take the loss against the Austrian Superstar to kickstart his title reign.
GUNTHER would end up taking the win after Orton passed out in a rear naked choke.
